Creative Enclave is a games development company based in Sydney, Australia. It was founded by Phil Wallach and Garth Nix.
The first game to be released, now available as an open beta test on Facebook, is the social network massively multiplayer online game IMPERIAL GALAXY.
While development and enhancement of IMPERIAL GALAXY is ongoing, Creative Enclave have several other online games in various stages of development.
Phil Wallach - Founder
Phil is the managing director of Base Information Systems Pty Ltd. A specialist software developer with over 20 years experience, Phil has worked on major projects for the Commonwealth Bank, ASIC, Deutschebank, Sydney Light Rail, DIGITAL and others. Phil also has more than 25 years experience designing games including live action role-playing games for the Sydney Games Convention which he co-founded in 1982.

Garth Nix - Founder
Garth is a New York Times, Publishers Weekly, Sunday Times (UK) and The Australian bestselling novelist. His fantasy novels have sold more than four and a half million copies around the world and have been translated into 36 languages. Garth has also held various roles in the publishing industry and as a marketing and PR consultant to the Australian subsidiaries of IT companies, including Toshiba, Cisco Systems, BellSouth and EMC. Garth began his writing career writing articles and scenarios for role-playing magazines in the UK and US and has been involved with playing and designing games for more than 25 years. He is the managing director of Nix Entertainment Pty Ltd and Cartwheel Partners Pty Ltd, a film production company. He is also a partner in the literary agency Curtis Brown (Australia) Pty Ltd.

Randal Leeb-du Toit - Chairman & Advisor
Rand is a serial entrepreneur with experience in building and investing in high technology companies. He was most recently an Entrepreneur in Residence and Director, Business Development at NICTA, an Australian ICT research institute. He was the CEO of an early stage venture capital company, Australian head of the first social networking phenomenon, First Tuesday and Executive Chairman of Tribalweave Capital.
In addition to his board level experience with numerous high tech companies around the world he has a background in publishing and law. He acts as a virtual CEO for a number of companies and comments on the social media arena at metarand.com.
Les Petersen - Art Director
Les has over twenty years experience as a freelance illustrator, typographer and web designer. He has illustrated numerous book covers for Australian and US book publishers and exhibited his digital images worldwide. Les holds degrees in Graphic Investigation from the Canberra School of Art (ANU), Creative Arts (Charles Sturt University) and Professional Communication (University of Canberra).
